Capabilities
PDM padmount transformers are designed, manufactured, and tested to the highest industry standards and feature fully enclosed, tamper-proof terminal compartments with Dead-Front or Live-Front configurations.

Transformer applications include loop or radial feed, with or without taps, and come with ONAN Type II mineral oil. Plus, many optional features, including skid-mounting.

Thermally conductive cast epoxy resin is standard, which insulates the coils to provide self-cooling and protection from fire, moisture, or leakage.
Special corrosion protection for coils and core clamps, even in 100% relative humidity and other harsh environments.
Short-term overload capacities guaranteed with available forced air-cooling options (AF)
Self-extinguishing materials prevent arcs from short-circuits, eliminating potentially harmful gasses in high temperature conditions.
